A Healthy Home Check-Up is like an medical exam but it is a check-up of your space. Is your home healthy? We look, we smell, we prod, we test. It’s simple and will be a benefit to you and your family. We’ll look at all the factors that affect human health and prioritize the most important things to do. We test EMFs using sensitive equipment such as this Gigahertz High Frequency meter to determine strength and direction of radio frequencies.
Moisture levels are checked within spaces by checking walls (especially in basements) to ensure the walls are dry. Mould will only grow if it has a moisture source.
Forced air furnace systems need property fitting filters and covers. Air entering the system from gaps travels through your home taking dust, mould and metals with it.
Household cleaners trigger asthma & cause other health problems. These include fragrance/ parfum & hazardous chemicals.

Electrical survey

We look at all the electrically-created fields: magnetic, electric, high frequency (or EMF), stray current and dirty electricity.
Air quality survey

We look at all the factors that influence indoor air quality: air flow, air filtration, chemicals in the home, combustible gases, type and methods of construction, materials used in construction and furnishings.
Healthy at Home

We look at all the electrically created fields and indoor air quality factors. This is the most popular Health Home Check-up as it covers most of the issues in a home that might influence your health.
For example, if you call an HVAC company they will not be looking at building science or construction-related issues. This takes about 3 or 3.5 hours to complete.
Healthy Home Guru

We provide the most wholistic approach that looks at your space from many disciplines. You can be assured that all the major things that might influence your health are assessed. .
In this Check-up we also look at water quality, fully assess personal care and cleaning products in the home and install a long-term Radon monitor to assess Radon over different weather and pressure conditions.
This Check-up takes between 4-5 hours to complete.
In all check-ups we ask that clients be available for the duration of the survey and be willing to take notes for their reference. We give lots of opportunities for clients to ask questions and guide occupants to solutions and alternatives improve their health. Written reports are not given. Laboratory samples are usually not necessary but if they are recommended, fees will be explained.
